| Let it be known that I don't believe there is such a thing as a "sell-out" when it comes to music. I think people just have their heads too far up their asses to realize that bands and artists will change their music over time, and that signing with a major label is done partly out of a desire to make money and partly to get their music out there to a bigger audience.
So go shove it, you indie elitists. |

| Hi. I haven't posted in here for almost three months. I feel compelled to now for reasons I don't entirely understand. Maybe it's because only a handful of people still hang around here, and I feel more comfortable posting only to that select few.
There's been some heavy stuff going on in Xangaland the past couple of months, and I think I should take this chance to bring some humor into the mix by being super shallow. Well, it's probably not very funny, but it's a great change of pace, right?
Normally, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (well, Fridays are debatable), I see this really cute guy on the bus when I go back to my apartment from Japanese. It was quite amusing last Monday and Wednesday because he ended up standing right in front of me (and I was sitting facing the right side of the bus, not the front) and I was pretty much able to stare right at his torso the entire time. On Monday, I actually thought that he wasn't on the bus, but then I looked up and saw his face, then looked down and saw his shoes. (How sad, I recognize a guy by his shoes, but in my defense, his arm was kinda blocking his face.)
Anyways. He wasn't on the bus today. Not too much of a disappointment. You can't be disappointed by these things. I did, however, see a cute shirtless guy on the way to the bus stop for Japanese. He was playing volleyball. It's times like that that I'm really glad that the temperatures are starting to rise. Then I remember about my overactive sweat glands and I immediately wish it was winter again.
I saw another really cute guy on the way to Japanese, but he elevated things from just "cute" to "hot." I've seen him a couple of times before. He's around my height (probably an inch or two taller) and wore a shirt tight enough to tell that he keeps himself in good shape. He's one of those guys who're a little short but they're very compact, and I have to admit that I find that very attractive. Why? I don't know. Throw in the hint of facial hair and I have to tear my eyes away before I look like I'm some kind of super creepy stalker.
So yeah. That was my afternoon told according to the attractive guys I saw. |

| Something of a depressing day today.
Amazing how I'm still able to be affected by this, if only through everyone else. |

Turned 20 yesterday. I don't feel any wiser at all. Well, at least I'm not a teenager anymore...? |
